Thursday night, June 11th was the beginning of movement to finally fight back.  Contrary to what the left would like to believe, it's not about partisan politics.  This anger goes back to the TARP funds, the amnesty attempt, spending out of control and it didn't start in January when President Obama took control.  It has been going on for far too long.

From the www.examiner.com

Obama used a scare tactic last week in an effort to push his cap and trade policies. He claimed that Southern Florida and North Carolina Beaches would be swallowed by water, even though no evidence of such events through actual calculations exists. The scare tactics are based on worst case scenarios, and computer models, which have in the past proved to be wrong. Remember when Al Gore referred to the condition as “global warming?” Then once that threat proved to be wrong, he now refers to it as “climate change.” Hard to be wrong when you include ALL weather changes now, isn’t it?

From www.republican.com

The American Clean Energy and Security Act, HR 2454, was recently approved by the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and Holden said there may be a vote this week.

The bill would establish regulations to limit greenhouse gas emissions, including carbon dioxide, and Holden said he plans to vote against it because of its effects on the coal industry.

I wrote a blog regarding health care after listening to Obama's "umpteenth" speech on it.  You can read it at
http://www.floridatoday.com/content/blogs/opinion/index.shtml

As we said on Thursday we said we would keep you informed as to how and who to voice your dissatisfaction with.

On Monday, June 15th in an address to the AMA Obama admits that the plan would cost $1trillion

Reuters reports Kennedy health plan estimated to cost $1 trillion (http://www.reuters.com/article/politicsNews/idUSTRE55E74C20090615)and that plan would only cover 16 million of the reported 42 million without health insurance.

A Washington Post story, Obama Is Pressed to Tax Health Benefits Seeking GOP Votes, Democrats Split Over Plan for New Levy, says that the administration is looking to cut medicare and other benefits but "The rest of the cash will probably come from new taxes. But Democrats are deeply divided over which taxes to raise, and the issue has become a central stumbling block in the push to enact legislation by fall." (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/14/AR2009061402769.html?hpid=topnews)
